Brown-Waite opponent still unsure about campaign

Land O'Lakes Republican Jim King, who is challenging U.S. Rep. Ginny Brown-Waite in the GOP congressional primary, said he is still considering whether to continue his campaign.

King said he is suffering from a serious back injury and saw a second doctor Monday. By e-mail, King said he is "out for at least 3 weeks" but did not elaborate on his campaign, which he suspended last week. Early voting for the Aug. 26 primary begins in five weeks.
