Bunting fires off a big-name mailer to voters

Bunting_mailer_2
Pasco County Republican Party Chairman Bill Bunting does some serious name dropping in a mailing to party voters for the state committeeman race. In a political twist, Bunting is trying to unseat longtime state committeeman John Renke II in a fight roiling the party.

Big names include photos of President Bush and former Gov. Jeb Bush, and an endorsement from Gov. Charlie Crist.
Bunting said he had 5,000 printed.

For Renke, a former lawmaker, state Sen. Mike Fasano, R-New Port Richey,
has personally paid for robo-calls supporting Renke. Fasano is a longtime Bunting adversary.
