Culp challenger looking for money
Yvonne Yolie Capin, who's challenging Faye Culp for the District 57 state house seat, is wasting no time -- or influence -- on the fundraising front. Congresswoman Kathy Castor is among the hosts for an event to raise coin for Capin on Thursday at 5:30 p.m. at Valencia Gardens.
Other hosts include state Sen. Charlie Justice, state Rep. Michael Scionti and Democratic gold mine Norma Gene Lykes. Like so many Democrats, Capin is building on Barack Obama's change mantra, titling the event "A Choice for Change."
