So this is the solution to Jim Smith land deal?

So Bay Buzz is scratching it's head a little over this story about a proposal before the Pinellas County Commission about real estate transactions in the wake of the Jim Smith land deal. Seems the commission is considering letting the county administrator have authority to approve all deals of $250,000 or less to buy land that is needed for previously approved capital projects.
