Brooksville inauguration celebration planned

JANUARY 12, 2009

Those in Hernando County who can't make it to the nation's capital for Barack Obama's inauguration are planning a local event to watch on a large projection screen a la the scene at the National Mall. See details below.

The event will be held from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Jan. 20 at the Marine Corps League 708 at 8405 Sunshine Grove Road in Spring Hill. It costs $7 with a cash bar available. RSVP to Harvey Martin at (352) 686-0686. It is sponsored by the Hernando Democratic Club, the Democratic Women's Club of Hernando County and the Wellington Democrats.
