Obama 2.0 listening tour hits Tampa Bay

Organizing for America, the DNC's grass-roots program to support President Barack Obama's agenda, will hold a meeting in Tampa at 7 p.m. Thursday at Urban Culinary Cuisine, 10016 Cross Creek Blvd. Obama supporters and volunteers can offer ideas on organizing in the area and discuss "the best way to Ofa provide Americans with the tools to make their voices heard in Washington and help bring about the long-term change voters asked for so overwhelmingly last November."

"We're here with one goal in mind: to listen,” said Ashley Walker, OFA state director for Florida. “The historic dedication and commitment of our supporters is what brought us victory in November and is what will help us advance President Obama's bold vision for the country over the coming years. They, more than anyone else, know what approaches will work best in their community and were eager to hear from them.”
