Bill Foster wins this fundraising period
ST. PETERSBURG -- Mayoral hopeful Bill Foster collected $44,801 during April through June, more than any other candidate.
But he finished third place overall in total fundraising, with $63,686.
Deveron Gibbons and Scott Wagman are neck and neck. Gibbons collected $156,655 overall, most of it from outside donors. Wagman has $149,535 overall, including a $60,000 loan.
Kathleen Ford raised $15,459 this period. Larry Williams raised $21,735.
Some other last minute reports that came in:
District 5 candidate Angela Rouson raised $10,300. She spent $2,079. She collected $500 from developer Tony Amico, $100 from City Council member Jamie Bennett and $500 from her husband, state Rep. Darryl Rouson, D-St. Petersburg. His law firm, Rouson & Associates, also gave her $500. Most of her money went toward campaign consultant Brian Lowack, who earned $1,200.
District 6 incumbent Karl Nurse earned $15,716 and spent $11,965. He loaned his campaign $1,000. He collected $100 from City Council member Jamie Bennett, $50 from Rep. Rouson, $50 from lawyer Don Mastry and $100 from County Commissioner Ken Welch.
