Jungle Terrace to host St. Petersburg candidate forum Monday
ST. PETERSBURG - Hear from the candidates at the Jungle Terrace Civic Association meeting Monday.
The public meeting will be at 7 p.m. at Walter Fuller Recreation Center, 7891 26th. Ave. N.
Candidates will give an introduction and answer questions.
Who will be there?
In the mayoral race, look out for Jamie Bennett, Paul Congemi, Kathleen Ford, Bill Foster, Deveron Gibbons, Scott Wagman and Larry Williams.
In the City Council races, District 6 candidates Karl Nurse and Vel Thompson are scheduled to attend. They face Derrick Frohne in the September primary.
Steve Kornell from the District 5 race will be there. He is up against Angela Rouson and Joe Smith.
District 2 incumbent Jim Kennedy is also scheduled to attend. He is running against Stephen Corsetti in the November general election.
