Police leaders back Deveron Gibbons
ST. PETERSBURG -- Mayoral hopeful Bill Foster has the police union's endorsement.
Now rival Deveron Gibbons has the support of some of the department's top brass.
In a new campaign photo, Gibbons is flanked by Assistant Chief Cedric Gordon, Assistant Chief Luke Williams, Maj. Donnie Williams, Sgt. Al White and former Maj. Reggie Oliver. Also in the picture? Restaurateur Mike Atwater.
The men are all wearing Deveron Gibbons for mayor shirts.
