Seel 'interested' if Young seat opens

Let the hypothetical dominoes start falling: Pinellas County Commissioner Karen Seel, a Republican, says she'd look at running in any election to replace U.S. Rep. C.W. Bill Young if he moves up to the U.S. Senate (see the Buzz's news that Young is on the shortlist).

"If something happens, of course I'm interested," Seel said of any special election. "This is obviously contingent on Young's and Crist's decision."

Seel has long been on the list of people to succeed Young.
