Bachmann to lead rally for Gus Bilirakis

U.S. Rep. Michele Bachmann of Minnesota (read her PolitiFact file here) will headline a rally and fundraiser for U.S. Rep. Gus Bilirakis, R-Palm Harbor, on March 31.

For $20.10, his campaign site says, people can attend and see the Republicans at Bayanihan Arts Center, 14301 Nine Eagles Drive, in Tampa.

Bilirakis has $337,485 on hand and so far faces little-known challenger Arthur Richardson III, a Republican who unsuccessfully campaigned for mayor of Tampa when Pam Iorio skated to re-election in 2007.
