Nurse takes another whack at Hometown Democracy

St. Petersburg -- City Council member Karl Nurse has made no secret about his aversion to Hometown Democracy's proposed Amendment 4, which would only allow voters to approve changes to long-term land use plans.

He slammed it last month in an op-ed piece for the Times that was titled "A Recipe for Sprawl."

On Thursday, Nurse is set to go before the TV cameras to pound, once more, on a proposed change to the state's constitution that will go before voters in November.
