Belden appointed to SBA advisory board
State Attorney Pam Bondi has appointed Hillsborough County Tax Collector Doug Belden to serve on a government advisory board to the State Board of Administration. Belden, whose appointment must get approved by the Senate, would serve on the Participant Local Government Investment Advisory Council.
The SBA oversees investments by state and local governments. It serves as a bank account of sorts for local government reserves or other money they are not ready to spend.
