Alan Grayson to speak at Pinellas Democrats' March 10 event
Pinellas County Democrats have recruited former congressman Alan Grayson to be the keynote speaker at the group's annual Kennedy-King Dinner on March 10. Here's their release:
Alan Grayson, the outspoken politician from the Orlando area who is as hated by Republicans as he is loved by liberals, will be the keynote speaker at the Pinellas County Democrats' Kennedy-King Dinner on March 10. That's a real coup for Pinellas Democrats.
While you will have a choice of beef, fish or vegetarian meal, I can promise that the former congressman will be serving up some red meat! You don't want to miss this chance to see what he has to say.
Democratic leaders in Washington are so confident in Grayson's chances of winning back a seat in Congress this year, they're pressing the progressive firebrand into service raising cash for candidates around the country as one of their new "majority makers." We are very lucky that he's able to fit the Pinellas Democratic Party's event into his already busy schedule.
In addition to Grayson, other Democratic leaders and elected officials will be on hand to meet, greet and generate enthusiasm for this year's elections. The dinner will be a great chance to rub elbows and bend ears.
Join fellow Democrats at 6:30 p.m. Saturday, March 10 at Banquet Masters in Pinellas Park. Invite friends and neighbors.
Tickets are just $75, with the money raised going directly into our 2012 Victory Fund.
