Beckner collects more endorsements
State Rep. Michael Scionti, D-Tampa, has endorsed Kevin Beckner in the race of the District 6 Hillsborough County Commission Seat. Beckner, a financial plannner, will face business owner Joe Redner and environmental activisit Dee Layne in the Democratic primary. The winner will take on Republican incumbent Brian Blair. Beckner also recently received an endorsement from the Hillsborough County Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual and Transgender and Allies Democratic Caucus.
