Beckner picks up labor endorsement
Hillsborough County Commission hopeful Kevin Beckner (left) has picked up an endorsement from the West Central Florida Federation of Labor.
Beckner, a financial planner, is competing against two other familiar Democrats, strip club owner Joe Redner and environmental activist Dee Layne, for the rights to challenge Republican incumbent Brian Blair for the District 6 at-large seat on the commission.
