Bill Young launches TV ad; Charlie Justice raises money
U.S. Rep. C.W. Bill Young, R-Indian Shores, has unveiled a 30-second television ad in his re-election bid against state Sen. Charlie Justice, D-St. Petersburg. The ad focuses on Young's efforts to bring jobs to Pinellas County -- a counter to Justice's attacks on Young's propensity to land federal funding from projects.
Meanwhile, Justice will have a fundraiser in Gulfport at 6 p.m. Monday at the Village Pub.
