Last Annual Airco Open

To commemorate the closing of Airco Golf Course, Commissioners Neil Brickfield and Norm Roche are hosting a final Golf Tournament which is open to all who are interested. The tournament will be held on Sunday, May 15, starting at 3 p.m.

Individual and team reservations to participate can be made by calling Airco at 727-573-4653. The cost is $50 per person, $200 per foursome and sponsorships are available.

All proceeds from the tournament will be donated to the local Meals on Wheels program in an effort to help offset the increase in gas prices hampering this program.

Trophies for 1st, 2nd & 3rd place teams, plus longest drive and closest to the pin contests.

“This is a great opportunity to play a final round at a historical golf course, and help out a very worthy cause”, said Commissioner Roche.

“If you’re a duffer like me playing the last round will be a lot of fun, if you cause a divot you don’t have to fix it, ” said Commissioner Brickfield, a well-known hacker.

Call a friend, make a team, or come on your own, but we hope to see you there!
