Clearwater chamber endorses Janet Long
SEMINOLE - CLEARPAC, the political affiliate of the Clearwater Regional Chamber of Commerce and the Chamber's Board of Directors, has endorsed Democrat Janet Long, who is running for re-election to House District 51.
Long is facing challengers Larry Ahern, a Republican businessowner, and Victoria Torres, a tea party candidate who lives in Orlando, in the Nov. 2 election.
Representing more than 1,000 member businesses, the Clearwater Regional Chamber of Commerce says it is one of the largest chambers in the Bay area and has become a large and powerful voice for its members through its ability to partner with other agencies and advocate on behalf of business and its members.
