Hillsborough County Firefighters have endorsed Democrat Stacy Frank in her run for the District 57 state House seat. In a news release, Frank said: “Hillsborough County Fire Fighters are among Florida’s finest first responders, and our public safety depends on how well they are performing their duty. I am committed to finding the critical resources necessary for our first responders to continue exceeding performance expectations and keeping our families and communities safe.” The release also said Frank would bring an "independent voice to Tallahassee and will fight for the needs of this district - not the Tallahassee special interests." Frank will face Republican Dana Young in the November election.
