Gualtieri will be sworn in Nov. 9, then jump to fund-raiser
Chief Deputy Bob Gualtieri will be sworn-in Nov. 9 as Pinellas County Sheriff Jim Coats' replacement. And it will be a busy day for the Republican Gualtieri, who is running for sheriff in 2012.
Gualtieri will be sworn in that afternoon at the Criminal Justice Center off 49th Street North Then he'll head immediately to a 5:30 p.m. fund-raiser at the Hilton hotel in Carillon Park.
