Ingold to kick off Pinellas sheriff campaign
Retired Pinellas County Sheriff's Office captain Tim Ingold will kick off his sheriff's campaign Thursday. The event is 6 p.m. at the Marriott hotel, 12600 Roosevelt Boulevard. Ingold is running against former sheriff Everett Rice and current Chief Deputy Bob Gualtieri, among others, in 2012.

Ingold was with the Pinellas County Sheriff's Office for almost thirty-one years and has worked at all command levels. He retired from the PCSO as a Captain in 2010. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice from Saint Leo College.
Ingold is a third generation Pinellas County native. He resides in Largo with his wife Kim. They have four children.
