Janet Long to speak at forum on ethics of maintaining green space
SEMINOLE -- State Rep. Janet Long, D-Seminole, will be one of the speakers at a forum, "The Ethics of Preserving Green Space," which is scheduled for 6 p.m. Oct. 27 in the Digitorium at St. Petersburg College, 9200 113th St. N, Seminole. At 5 p.m., the college will have a walk-through of its recently opened natural habitat park.
Other speakers scheduled are Joe Malo, director of education at the Clearwater Marine Aquarium, Jake Stowers, a retired assistant county administrator, and Lester Abberger, chairman of the Trust for Public Land and of the board of the Florida Conservation Campaign.
