From the Justice news release:
The endorsement letter includes such key points as:
-- “your positions demonstrate a strong commitment to improve the quality of life for older Americans. Your leadership on issues such as preserving and protecting Social Security from privatization….”
-- “The Alliance for Retired Americans believes that your election to the House of Representatives will enhance the quality of life for older Americans”
CHARLIE JUSTICE STATEMENT ON RECEIVING FLARA ENDORSEMENT
“I am proud to have this endorsement. I am committed to protecting and preserving Social Security and Medicare for the next generation. I do not support privatizing Social Security. I look forward to working hard as your next Congressman to keep this commitment to the American people. This is one area where I differ from the 40 year incumbent Bill Young who has voted to weaken Social Security stability and voted against closing the Medicare donut hole.”
