Pinellas County Commissioner Susan Latvala added $12,575 in contributions at year's end to her 2010 re-election campaign, raising her total to $62,739 in donations with $6,666 spent.

That gives her a significant lead in total fundraising over top rivals Beverley Billiris ($18,820 raised, $5,058 spent) and Carl Folkman, who raised $6,700 to up his overall take to $9,608 with $2,124 spent.

Combined, that fundraising makes the Latvala seat the most competitive of the three commission races of 2010.
