Maddox raising coin in St. Pete for ag commissioner
Democrat Scott Maddox, the former Tallahassee mayor and state Democratic Party chairman, will have a $500-a-head fundraiser in St. Petersburg hosted by Charles Gerdes' law firm. The Feb. 24 event with the Keane, Reese, Vesely & Gerdes firm at 770 Second Ave. S is billed as Maddox's first event in Pinellas.
