Morroni files for re-election in Pinellas
Republican John Morroni, who has overcome cancer, filed for re-election today.
First elected in 2000, Morroni so far faces no opposition for the District 6 seat, which includes St. Petersburg across south-central county areas to the beaches.
Morroni is a Feather Sound resident. He spent 1992 to 2000 in the Florida House.
