Pinellas County Commissioner Neil Brickfield wants volunteers to help in his campaign. Specifically, he's looking for folks who want to walk neighborhoods. Walks are scheduled to start at 9 a.m. Saturday (Sept. 15) and 2 p.m. Sunday (Sept. 16). For information, call Eileen at (727) 455-6389 or email her at eileenblackmer@yahoo.com.
Brickfield, a former Safey Harbor city commissioner, is seeking his second term on the Pinellas County Commission. His opponent is Janet Long, a former state representative and Seminole City Council member. Seat 1 is an at-large position that is elected countywide. Couny commissioners serve four-year terms and are paid $90,389 a year.
