Pamella Settlegoode is pro hot dog vendors
ST. PETERSBURG -- District 4 candidate Pamella Settlegoode said push cart vendors should be allowed to operate past 9 p.m.
Citing a story in today's St. Petersburg Times on the city's crackdown on late-night push cart vendors, Settlegoode called out rival City Council member Leslie Curran.
"The article shared that Ms. Curran said that she would 'review the matter and see if the law can be changed.' Ms. Curran has had 12 years to review and change things," Settlegoode said.
Police have better things to do than shut down businesses, she said.
"From what I have learned, our police really would like to be attending to more serious things," she said.
Printer Jason Diviki is also running for District 4.
