Pasco budget crisis solved - in Zimbabwe
Pasco County Commissioner Michael Cox recently returned from a vacation in Africa -- and jokingly brought back a so
lution the county's spending shortfall from property tax cuts. Property taxes in Pasco are estimated to be down $17-million when the proposed budget comes out next Tuesday.
Cox, a Democrat, kept a $5-billion bill from Zimbabwe (drastic inflation prompted the country to print the high value currency).
"The budget problems are solved," he quipped.
