Pasco mega-park project runs into trouble

"If they want to go talk to Sportsplex and do a lesser park, that's their prerogative. But quite honestly, I'm not going to be spending my time on it," said Kight, noting the company had agreed not to negotiate with other communities nearby.
The County Commission on Tuesday will be asked to allow negotiations with Sportsplex USA, a California company that runs one large sports complex and is developing others. It doesn't build replica fields — the factor that left it the bridesmaid to Big League Dreams in May. Read more here.
