Pasco rules will allow beer sales at Meadow Pointe CVS
WESLEY CHAPEL -- If you live in the sprawling Meadow Pointe community in Wesley Chapel, you don't even have to leave the subdivision to grab some brews.
Much to the chagrin of some of the people living there, the new neighborhood CVS is selling beer, despite a Pasco County Commission vote last year to deny a permit for alcohol sales.
It turns out the county's own rules don't cover beer when it comes to conditional use permits governing sale of alcohol for off-site consumption. It seems CVS figured it out before the county did.
