Ending months of speculation, Hillsborough County Clerk of the Circuit Court Pat Frank confirmed she filed the paperwork necessary an hour ago to begin campaigning for another term. Frank is one of the few Democrats in countywide office in Hillsborough and a veteran of a host of elected offices, from the school board and county commission to the state legislature. This should quiet the rumored salivating by several prospective suitors for the job. Frank, 82, said after going through heart surgery in October and breaking a couple of pelvic bones recently, she's ready for another four years. "I feel great," Frank said. "I'm back in shape and ready to go."
