Pinellas Realtor Organization endorses Charlie Justice

An influential block in Pinellas County is backing the challenger in a race for a seat on the county commission.

Charlie Justice announced on Thursday that he has won the endorsement of the Pinellas Realtor Organization in his campaign to unseat Nancy Bostock for the District 3 at-large seat on the county commission.

Justice, a Democrat from St. Petersburg, was a State Representative and then Senator for ten years. He left Tallahassee in 2010 to make an unsuccessful run for Congress.

Bostock, a Republican from Treasure Island, was elected in 2008, and voted with the majority in the controversial 4-3 vote to remove fluoride from the county’s water. When he entered the race in March, Justice cited her fluoride vote as a reason for jumping into the race.

Charlie Justice comments on receiving the endorsement of the Pinellas Realtor Organization.

"I am proud to have the support of our local realtors. They know that we have important work to do and cannot be distracted by partisan ideological battles. We need new leadership on our County Commission to make decisions that are right for the entire community and not just the loudest voices in the room."
