Norm Roche, the "Energizer Bunny" of Pinellas County politics, is powering up another bid to unseat Democrat Calvin Harris on the county commission.

Roche has attended at least one recent Republican Party meeting, and has told politicos he intends to run as a Republican against Harris, a Democrat. Harris beat him in the 2006 Democratic primary. Roche did not immediately return a call for comment.

He Web site is listed as "UNDER CONSTRUCTION!" but already has a campaign sign, replete with a disclaimer.
