ST. PETERSBURG-- State Rep. Darryl Rouson released a list of endorsements today that read like a who's who in local government.

Among the endorsements: St. Petersburg Mayor Rick Baker, Council members Karl Nurse and Jamie Bennett, State Rep. Bill Heller, Pinellas County Commissioner Ken Welch and the former holder of the seat, Frank Peterman, now state secretary of juvenile justice.

Rouson is running for reelection against the Rev. Charles McKenzie in the Democratic Aug. 26 primary. McKenzie has also secured a few key endorsements, including Council member Wengay Newton and former council member Earnest Williams.
