Rouson's summer job program comes to an end

ST. PETERSBURG- State Rep. Darryl Rouson is set to celebrate the end of his 50-50-50 summer jobs program today.

Rouson, D-St. Petersburg, will speak at a commencement ceremony at the Royal Theater, 1011 22nd St. S. in St. Petersburg from 6 to 8 p.m. Local rap group Knuckle Headz is scheduled to perform.

Meanwhile, Rouson, who is up for reelection, is still far ahead of his opponent, the Rev. Charles McKenzie, when it comes to campaign contributions.
