Scott Wagman backs Bill Foster
ST. PETERSBURG -- Former mayoral candidate Scott Wagman said he gave $250 to Bill Foster's mayoral campaign this month.
Is Wagman voting for Foster?
"The giving of money should be an indicator, but I am not endorsing anyone," he said. "You have to really be in love with someone to endorse."
Wagman said recent events convinced him Foster would be a more successful mayor than rival Kathleen Ford.
"The last month has been really telling," he said. "Bill Foster is showing, how do I say it, a better demeanor."
Wagman added, "Bill will be more in tuned to smoothing people's anxieties rather than playing to them. The people who run things day to day need to feel a sense of comfort with their leadership, that their leadership is sound, rational, measured and competent."
