The smackdown continues in race for Florida House District 68
If the battle for Florida House District 68 resembled a charcoal grill, the chef wouldn’t need matches or lighter fluid. The charcoal for this blaze is already raging.
And Election Day is still seven weeks away for the legislative seat based in St. Petersburg.
With that, Democrat Dwight Dudley and Republican Frank Farkas continue to trade strongly-worded shots. A day after Farkas accused Dudley of committing perjury on the campaign trail, Dudley accused Farkas of not having a backbone.
Semantics.
Farkas is a former state legislator; Dudley is seeking office for the first time.
After trading barbs this week, Dudley challenged Farkas to join him "in at least one debate before the November election.”
Bay Buzz asked Farkas if he will eneter the ring.
“We’re going to be at the Tiger Club debate on Sept. 20,” Farkas said, laughing. "I don’t know if there is a bigger debate than that.”
