Act II on Randy Heine's appearance Thursday night at the Pinellas Park Council meeting:

It was Heine's third time at the podium when Mayor Bill Mischler interrupted him after three minutes -- the council's limit for public testimony -- and said, “Thank you, Mr. Heine.”

Heine stepped away from the podium only to be reminded he’d left his video camera behind. As he picked up the camera, which had been filming the mayor, Heine explained, “This is so when I go home, I can watch you make funny faces I can laugh at.”

Mischler: “I’m glad you like it so much.”

Heine, who becomes outraged when his Rockin’ Cards and Gifts is referred to as a head shop, shot back: “It’s better than smoking pot.”
