Stacy Frank opponents protest fundraiser at Kathy Castor's house
People headed to a fundraiser at the home of U.S. Rep. Kathy Castor for Democratic state House candidate Stacy Frank on Tuesday got a surprise: Protesters. Frank has raised the ire of some South Tampa homeowners who object to her work building cell towers in the neighborhood. They have vowed to fight her election in November. Fewer than a dozen walked up and down the sidewalk in front of Castor's house wearing bright yellow T-shirts that read: "No thanks Stacy Frank."
Frank wants to represent District 57. Two Republicans in the race -- Todd Marks and Dana Young -- said today they have collected the necessary signatures to qualify for the ballot.
