U.S. Sen. John Thune, R-SD, will be the keynote speaker at the Hillsborough County GOP's Lincoln Day Dinner. The fundraiser is scheduled for July 18 at the Grand Hyatt Hotel on Bayport Drive. Thune, who defeated Tom Daschle in 2004, is frequently mentioned as a potential running mate for Republican presidential nominee John McCain.
