Well before the GOP convention, they're already picking on Tampa
Everyone knows Tampa might get picked on as the upcoming Republican National Convention puts it in the media spotlight. On Wednesday night, on Comedy Central, the jabs began. As comedian Jon Stewart and one of his Daily Show correspondents discussed how Republican candidates are vying for the "coveted God endorsement," Stewart wondered whether God would be in Tampa come the August convention. "Have you been to Tampa?" asked correspondent Wyatt Cenac. "That place is a s- - - hole." It sure didn't feel that way Thursday morning on the riverfront, where it was a sunny, no-coat-necessary 57 degrees. Could the New Yorkers be jealous?
