Will St. Petersburg's three deputy mayors have jobs come January?
ST. PETERSBURG -- Mayoral candidates Bill Foster and Kathleen Ford still aren't telling.
Foster and Ford offered little new insight on how they will follow through on their ongoing promises to eliminate the city’s three deputy mayors during a candidate forum Monday.
Foster said he would add new responsibilities to city administrators’ job descriptions, but would not say if he would fire or lower anyone’s salary.
Ford said she will create a city manager position and hopes to move the deputy mayors into other job titles, but dodged a question about whether she would lower their salaries.
