Former Sen. Mel Martinez to moderate panel on debt
The Hispanic Chamber of Commerce of Tampa Bay will host a panel discussion on “Solving the Federal Debt Crisis: How Sequestration Impacts Small Business and How to Fix the Debt.”
Former Florida Sen. Mel Martinez is expected to moderate the panel, which is scheduled to include former Congressman Jim Davis, World Fuel Services CEO Paul Stebbins, Concord Coalition executive director Robert Bixby and Hialeah City Council member Paul Hernandez.
The event is at 8 a.m. Wednesday at the Columbia Restaurant, 2117 E Seventh Ave., in Ybor City. It is free and open to the public, but reservations are required. To make a reservation, e-mail Jolie Gonzalez at firstname.lastname@example.org.
