Hundreds of parents fume as Tampa's summer camp online registration bogs down



At $80 for 10 weeks, the city of Tampa's summer camps are a bargain — an "amazing deal," one parent says — so open spots get snapped up fast.

Except on Monday night, when the city's online camp registration was scheduled to open.

Instead, it crashed — frustrating about 800 parents who were vying for a limited number of coveted spots.
