Prosecutor Susan St. John to run for judge
Assistant State Attorney Susan St. John announced she will run for the Pinellas-Pasco Circuit Judge position now held by Lauren Laughlin, who is retiring.
St. John, 40, has spent the past 10 years working for the Pinellas-Pasco State Attorney's Office, including six as a gang prosecutor. She is an Army veteran and a graduate of the University of Central Florida and the Stetson University College of Law.
She was a finalist last year for an open circuit judge position and also ran for a circuit judge position in 2010.
