Agrrrrrr you stabbing me?

DUNEDIN — Pinellas County deputies say a 56-year-old man dressed as a pirate was stabbed by his own knife shortly after the city's Mardi Gras Parade on Tuesday night.

Robert Joseph Casey of Madeira Beach was wearing a pirate costume, complete with a knife in a scabbard, and was posing for pictures with a group of teenagers. One of the teens, who was wearing flashing pink glasses, grabbed the knife and posed for the photo, pointing the knife at the pirate.

Sometime later, someone noticed blood on Casey's shirt and called for help.

It wasn't immediately clear how the costumed man was stabbed and didn't realize it.
