Boy Scouts get lost on canoe trip

   A Boy Scout canoe trip at Camp LaNoChe in Paisley got a bit scary when the troop got lost on Alexander Spring Creek, dailycommercial.com reports.

   A Lake County sheriff’s helicopter spotted the eight canoes through a heavy tree canopy after 11 p.m. because the Scouts were waving light sticks.

   Deputies used squad cars to clear a path through heavy brush to get the troop to a road.
