Customer's bike sold at estate sale

A man’s bicycle was sold at an estate sale while he was inside examining merchandise, nwfdailynews.com reports.

It was particularly unfortunate for Jim Rodney, 56, because the bike has been his only means of transportation since he got rid of his car a year ago.

Rodney said his 27-inch, 21-speed Schwinn Super Sport is worth about $450 but sold for $5. The mixup apparently occurred when the buyer and a family member were haggling over another bicycle.
